JSC �Sakhalinsvyaz� provides telephone lines of a high quality which can be used for making calls and for facsimile and computer communication. These services are provided by analogue and digital telephone exchanges which are the basis of the public telephone network in Sakhalin.

�Sakhalinsvyaz� branches provide the following local communication services:

• access to the telephone network

• leased cable communications
• free of charge additional services:  inquiry service �09�; test of damaged lines, test of not authorized access, etc.
• additional services to be paid: 1) temporary restriction of long-distance communications under the customer's request 2) telephone number is not included into inquiry service �09� database under the client�s request 3) repair of  telephone, etc.
• value added services of digital telephone exchanges:

• restricting outgoing long distance and international calls � you can prevent all or certain types of outgoing calls from your telephone set
• wake up calls � program time convenient for you and the telephone will ring and wake you up
• diversion of call - diversion of call to another telephone number if your telephone

number is busy or you are absent

• abbreviated dialing � you can place a call to most frequently dialed numbers by pushing two digits
• incoming calls restriction � this function allows restricting incoming local, long distance and international calls
• fixed destination call � you can set up a call to a previously defined telephone number by simply lifting the handset
• call waiting � allows you to receive an incoming call even when you are on the phone
• conference call � three party conversation
